Assistant Principal Chante Gary

Mrs. Chante Gary is proud to serve as an Assistant Principal at Cullen Middle School. She is entering her 21st year in education and her 5th year as an assistant principal. Throughout her career, she has remained passionate about supporting students, empowering teachers, and fostering a positive school culture where every student feels valued, challenged, and inspired to reach their full potential.

Originally from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Mrs. Gary is a proud alumna of Southeastern Louisiana University, where she earned her bachelor's of science degree in Health Science. She later earned her Master of Business Administration (MBA), and it was during that time that she discovered her true passion for education. What began as a newfound calling quickly became a lifelong career, and she has been dedicated to serving students and educators ever since.

Mrs. Gary believes that every child has unique gifts, unlimited potential, and deserves an advocate who believes in them. She is passionate about creating a safe, engaging, and supportive learning environment where students are encouraged to grow academically, socially, and emotionally. She finds joy in building meaningful relationships with students, celebrating their successes, and helping them overcome challenges as they prepare for future opportunities.

Outside of school, Mrs. Gary enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, cooking, and cheering on her favorite NFL team, the New Orleans Saints. She is the proud mother of two biological children and is also blessed with three bonus children. Above all, family is at the center of everything she does and continues to be her greatest source of joy and motivation.

Mrs. Gary is honored to serve the Cullen Middle School community and is committed to partnering with students, families, and staff to foster a culture of excellence where every Bobcat can learn, grow, and succeed.
