Assistant Principal Laquonta Demyers

I am a dedicated and dynamic educational leader with over 17 years of experience in public education. I hold a Bachelor of Business Administration from Sam Houston State University and a Master of Educational Leadership from Lamar University. Currently, I serve as an Assistant Principal, bringing a wealth of expertise in instructional leadership, student advocacy, and cultivating a positive school culture.

Throughout my career, I have remained committed to fostering academic excellence and promoting equity for all students. My leadership is rooted in building strong, authentic relationships with students, staff, and families. I take pride in inspiring collaborative teams focused on continuous improvement and student-centered practices.

I am passionate about empowering educators and creating inclusive learning environments where every student can thrive. Each day, I strive to be a driving force in shaping positive school communities and preparing students for lifelong success.
